From the endless swampland to the unique cultural background, Florida is a state full of lovely scenery and surprises. Landon Hendrick takes us to the heart of the state in today’s wedding. We get it all: The rustic details, a few of the cutest flower girls I have ever seen, and an epic sparkler send off to complete the evening. Our bride made it all possible by partnering with the fabulous Kim E’s Flowers to create bouquets to match the scenery, scrumptious eats by 4 Rivers Smokehouse, and chose Isola Farms to wrap it all up and call it the perfect day. And what better way to dance the night away than to bring in their favorite radio DJ from 93.7K Country to keep the celebration live into the night?
What makes you an On the Go Bride?
I work full time and also am a part time college student. So things were pretty hectic during wedding planning.
What did you find most challenging about planning your wedding as an On the Go Bride?
Trying to balance both work and school was challenging while setting up meetings with vendors.
What made the wedding planning process easier or helped save you time?
I am very lucky to have a mother who is so supportive of me. She was there every step of the way helping with everything that she could.
What advice would you give to bride’s trying to plan their weddings while working?
Best advice I can give is to start planning early and don’t stress over the small things!
What special things or moments between you and your husband did you include in your wedding?
My husband and I love the outdoors. This is why we chose to have our wedding at Isola Farms. He and I also enjoy shooting at our local gun range so the boutonnières were made from shot gun shells.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
I absolutely loved everything about my wedding day! However, the moment I walked out onto the isle and saw the man I would spend the rest of my life with smiling back at me was the best moment of the entire night!
