I adore the relaxed vibe of this wedding. From the lens of Ashley DePencier, this album is full of clean, modern lines. And those white roses! Love love love.
A bit of detail from Ashley… “One of my favorite wedding trends has been the move towards using rustic, natural backdrops for a beautiful ceremony. With it’s unique California desert vibe and strong country roots, you can’t ask for a better spot than Bakersfield, and Lacey and Greg’s JEH Ranch wedding is a beautiful example.”
“One of my favorite parts of the wedding to photograph and be a part of is the happy anticipation of getting ready together. The bride and groom are surrounded by their closest friends and relaxing before the approaching whirlwind. Greg and Lacey knew they wanted their colors to complement the beautiful desert scenery, so they went with an inspired palette of off whites, burlaps, and tans, set off with a beautiful deep purple.”
“I always love it when the men get to wear a fun color, and the plum ties against the tan suits were perfect. For a fun touch, they also wore socks from the sports team of their choice. The bridesmaids wore long, purple dresses and carried bouquets full of desert aromatics.”
“Lacey and Greg decided against seeing each other before the wedding, so anticipation was high. When she appeared at the end of the aisle on her dad’s arm, Greg and the whole audience teared up. Lacey wore a beautiful white lace mermaid dress with an elbow length veil, and they exchanged rings with the river as their backdrop.”
