Our Brief Hiatus

Hi friends,

As you might remember, we relaunched On the Go Bride last October and had all these amazing things planned for you. We were so excited for what was coming.

Then…life happened.

My beloved dog Teddy had been sick since mid-August, but took a turn for the worst at the end of October. Teddy fought for as long as he could but ultimately took his last breath in our home on his favorite footstool on Monday, November 19th.

Teddy was my first dog, and taught me an awful lot. About not pooping in the snow, how to get vomit out of the couch, but mostly about unconditional love. His death hit me harder than I ever expected and took me down for the count.

His lasting legacy was somehow managing to get us our dream home a few days before he passed. So in the grieving process, not only did I have to pack up his life, but mine as well. I had to say goodbye to my first home, to Teddy’s home, and to my family who I lived 5 blocks away from.

Needless to say, I had a lot going on in my life at the end of last year. And when you’re THAT overwhelmed, something has to give. For me, it was unfortunately On the Go Bride.

But now we’re into 2019, settled into our new home, and feeling ready to take over the world. I’m ready to start bringing back amazing real weddings, engagements, and styled shoots, helpful wedding planning advice, and incredible vendors you need to know about.

On the Go Bride is back. We hope you’ll join us for this amazing journey.

Sincerely,
Kristin
Editor and Owner of On the Go Bride
